Camp run by ex-Jet Fiedler sued in ‘sex abuse’

A Westchester teen is suing a sports camp run by former Jets quarterback Jay Fiedler, alleging a counselor sneaked into his bed while he was sleeping in 2006 and sexually assaulted him.

The 18-year-old alleges the abuse occurred when he was 11.

Fiedler, who played for the Jets in 2005, became a full-time director of Brookwood Camps in upstate Sullivan County last summer and “has been involved” with the family business since 1986, according to the co-ed camp’s Web site.

Fiedler, his brother and their parents are being accused of negligence in their supervision of the counselor, according to the suit filed Jan. 17 in state Supreme Court in Westchester.
