Rob Gronkowski, party and camera phone are three things that usually do not mix.
And this past weekend was no exception. The rowdy Patriots tight end was caught on tape — the footage was acquired by TMZ — using inflammatory language toward an Asian Patriots fan at a bye-week viewing party.
“They told me he could only cook fried rice,” Gronkowski said before referring to the fan as “Leslie Chow” – the drug-fueled character from “The Hangover” played by Ken Jeong.
The remarks are immediately followed by someone reminding those in attendance they were not permitted to take video footage of the event.
Whoops, too late.
