Which witch will be the new Supreme on ‘Horror Story’?

Who cares whether Denver or Seattle will win the Super Bowl in New York … oh, so sorry, make that New Jersey … on Sunday?

The real battle we’re focusing on is who will become the new Supreme in the season finale of “American Horror Story: Coven,” airing at 10 p.m. Wednesday on FX.

Which witch’s cauldron is bubbling the most to replace recently departed (or is she? ?) Supreme Fiona, played by Jessica Lange? Here are our wholly wishful, absolutely unscientific odds for the key cunning conjurers.

Cordelia Foxx (Sarah Paulson)

Michele K. Short/FX
The fragile daughter of exiting Supreme Fiona has had a rough time of it, from dealing with an oft-unsupportive mother to battling her witch-hunting husband to losing (and regaining, and losing again) her sight. She deserves the throne — if only for her perseverance.

2:1

Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe)

Michele K. Short/FX
She had the most intriguing base power this season — Queenie’s a human voodoo doll! Can we please put her into a room with Gwyneth Paltrow and a diamond-encrusted knitting needle and get down to business?

3:1

Misty Day (Lily Rabe)

Frank Ockenfels/FX
The flighty vixen has witchy woman Stevie Nicks on her side. If you ask us, that’s all she needs to win this battle.

3:1

Nan (Jamie Brewer)

Michele K. Short/FX
Yeah, the innocent(‘ish), heartbroken mind reader is dead. But we think we’ve seen the last of powerful Nan about as much as we’ve seen the last Justin Bieber arrest mug shot. (What, too soon?)

3:1

Zoe Benson (Taissa Farmiga)

Michele K. Short/FX
The black widow has accumulated a lot of powers over time. And while she fled the hostility of the coven, she seems re-energized by returning to the coven with her rage-filled Frankenstein boyfriend Kyle Spencer (Evan Peters). Perhaps they’ll tag-team a way to conquer the supremacy.

4:1

Fiona Goode (Jessica Lange)

Michele K. Short/FX
Sure, she steadily lost her powers and, in fact, got chopped up and left in a swamp last week by her lover, The Axeman (Danny Huston). But we’re still hoping that fabulously flawed Fiona could come crawling out of the gator-infested bayou and retain her crown. She is a Supreme, after all. Fiona’s a potion we’d love to see stirred again.

5:1

Madison Montgomery (Emma Roberts)

Michele K. Short/FX
The self-absorbed Hollywood starlet would seem to have all the necessary powers (plus a bitchy thick skin), but who really wants a more-successful Lindsay Lohan running the coven? Not what’s left of the witches council, we’re sure.

10:1

Myrtle Snow (Frances Conroy)

Michele K. Short/FX
The head of the witches council was falsely accused of a crime against the coven and then burned alive for it. But she was resurrected (by Misty) to settle the score (and all she needed was a melon-baller to do it). Face it: she knows how to keep the ladies of the coven in line. Plus: love the hair; hope it wins.

40:1

Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett)

Michele K. Short/FX
The last time we saw Bassett’s sublime Voodoo Queen, she was in hell, destined to torture Madame LaLaurie’s (Kathy Bates) daughter for all eternity. But perhaps she could defy Papa Legba and resurrect herself? Unlikely, much as we’d love to see her and Queenie reconcile and reign together.

50:1

Quentin (Leslie Jordan)

Leslie Jordan as Quentin (right).Michele K. Short/FX

Please, who wouldn’t want Beverley Leslie to sashay his dead self back into the picture and bring more “Will & Grace”-worthy bon mots to the scripts?

100:1

(By the way, if you actually do care about that football thingy on Sunday, the numbers-crunchers over at bleacherreport predict a final score of Denver over Seattle, 31-24.)
