McDonald’s testing 2,940 calorie ‘Blitz Box’

Super-size me!

McDonald’s and the Kansas City Chiefs have teamed up to create the “Blitz Box,” a gut-busting family meal of two Quarter Pounders with Cheese, two medium orders of French Fries and a 20-piece bucket of Chicken McNuggets.

It’s being test marketed for a bargain-basement price of $14.99 in the Kansas City area.

And if you’re counting calories, the bucket o’ burgers clocks in at a whopping 2,940.

Each Quarter Pounder with Cheese is 520 calories,  20 pieces of McNuggets are 940 and each medium order of French Fries accounts for 380  calories.

You can have up to four packets of sauce for your McNuggets, adding around another 200 calories to the mix.

The only thing missing is the drinks.

The KC promotion runs until the end of Chiefs season. New Yorkers don’t need to hold their breathe for the “Blitz Box” to come here.

“This promotion is just in Kansas City. I can’t speculate on what other markets may or may not do,” said McDonald’s spokeswoman Lisa McComb.
