Supermodel Kate Upton has been getting a ton of press—and it’s not for some new bouncy YouTube video.
It’s because of her smokin’ look-alike mother, Shelley, a former Texas state tennis champion. “My mom is definitely some hot stuff,” Upton told Buzz Friday night at the “Mademoiselle C” premiere party at the Four Seasons restaurant.
Based off recent pics of the mom and daughter duo in NYC, sex appeal most certainly runs in the family.
“She’s a very confident woman,” says Upton of her mother. “I guess I just learn from watching her carry herself.”

Blair Hair
Selma Blair is switching it up now that she’s no longer tied to her character Kate Wales on FX’s “Anger Management.”
She debuted a blonder look at the Christian Siriano runway show on Saturday. Her ultimate hot-for hue? “I’d love to go all-gray,” she told Buzz. “So I’m trying to make the transition … I have a lot of white in my hair.”
Blair recently caught flak for breastfeeding her 2-year-old son, Arthur, on an LA trolley. “I don’t [publicly breast-feed] to make a statement. I just happen to have a kid that claws his way at my breast when he’s cranky. My child’s happiness is what’s most important to me.”

“Orange Is the New Black” star Danielle Brooks (right) may play a foul-talking prisoner, Taystee Jefferson, on the hit Netflix show. But the Juilliard grad leaves the strong language on the set.
“My mother is a minister, and my father is a deacon, so sometimes I’m a little nervous. I do like to keep my morals intact. But as long as it stays truthful and tasteful, I’m all for it,” she told Buzz at the Daily Front Row First Annual Fashion Media Awards at Harlow on Friday. Sometimes, though, she admits the role is too much for her parents to handle.
“I told them that I might have to be topless for the first scene, and they said, ‘What?! Oh no!’ But they respect what I do. It’s very nice to have a supportive family.”

Lake Bell Undresses
At Friday’s Rag & Bone show, newlywed Lake Bell sat pretty in all black awaiting her tardy husband, Scott Campbell, who was stuck in traffic. “Married life is good!” beamed the actress, who added that she’s keeping her post-Fashion Week plans simple. “I plan to take all [my] clothes off and have a drink!”
