Cindy Crawford and hubby share estate with Clooney

George Clooney and his BFF Rande Gerber are such good chums that they built beachfront vacation homes alongside each other in Los Cabos in southern Mexico.

Besides fun in the sun, there’s another hot perk for woman-slayer Clooney — Gerber’s wife happens to be supermodel Cindy Crawford.

The compound, called Casamigos — “House of Friends” in Spanish — boasts a refined modern exterior with high-end furnishings inside, including a woven leather headboard in Clooney’s bedroom, a 14-foot Da-Lite screen with CinemaTech seats in the actor’s home theater, and a Jacuzzi lined with blue mosaic tiles in his master bath terrace.

“I wanted something that would blend in — something indigenous that would feel in harmony with the setting,” Clooney told Architectural Digest magazine.

Clooney’s villa is considered the darker and “clubbier” of the two — by design. “If my house were truly open, it would present too many opportunities for people to take pictures,” he said.

Clooney and Gerber, who met in the ’90s in one of the nightlife impresario’s bars, said they hatched the idea for Casamigos a few years ago as a comfortable destination for family and friends, and as an alternative to hotels.

The trio was originally planning to build one house big enough for everyone — but scrapped the idea.

“It’s just nice at the end of the night to have your own place to go back to,” Gerber told the magazine.

Casamigos isn’t just a brick-and-mortar operation — Clooney, Gerber and another friend launched a tequila brand last year that bears the same name.

“It’s what we drink whenever we’re at the house,” Clooney said.
