‘Housewives’ husband sued over alleged racial epithets

A waitress who worked at a catering hall featured in “Real Housewives of New Jersey” is suing the husband of cast member Caroline Manzo for abusing the staff with racial epithets and failing to pay overtime.

Lanise Jackson, 36, charged that she and other employees at The Brownstone in Paterson were routinely called “bitch,” “f—king stupid bitch,” “s–c bitches,” “lazy motherf—–s,” and “f—-ing screw up” by Albert Manzo, his brother Tommy and a manager.

In the complaint filed with in Superior Court of New Jersey in Passaic County, Jackson said she quit in November because “she could no longer endure the racial, sexual, ethnic and country of origin epithets hurled at her hourly.”

“It was despicable conduct by these people,” said her lawyer, Mark Mulick.

Albert Manzo denied the charge, telling Courthouse News that the complaint is “absolutely unbelievable.”

Jackson also alleged she regularly worked more than 40 hours a week but was not paid time-and-a-half overtime.
