The $130K around-the-world flight for the super-rich

They’re the ultimate jet-setters!

A new luxury jet offers the super-rich the chance to take private around-the-world group trips — complete with an on-board chef, leather flatbeds and a “concierge” — for $130,000 a ticket.

The Four Seasons hotel chain unveiled the glamorous 52-passenger airplane, which is set to take travelers on 24-day trips to destinations including Bora Bora, Thailand and India starting in February.

The limo-of-the-sky features a customized interior, global in-flight Wi-Fi and an onboard concierge to plan spa treatments and tee times for passengers.

It’s a carpool-style middle ground for wealthy travelers who want the luxury of a private jet — but don’t want to pay that much, sources told Bloomberg News.

“It recognizes their desire to pair adventure and discovery with the luxury of a fully immersive Four Seasons experience,” said Susan Helstab, executive vice president of marketing for the hotel chain.

Some well-heeled travelers have stopped splurging on vacations due to the economic slump — so the idea comes at the right time, marketing experts said.

“They are hesitant to indulge now because of their concerns about finances and the overall economy,” said Pam Danziger, president of the Stevens, Pa.-based luxury research firm.

The black aircraft — a Boeing 757 that under normal circumstances carries 233 passengers — will feature the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts logo.

In February, it will make a nine-destination, 24-day trip that begins in Los Angeles. It includes stops in Bora Bora, Thailand, India, Turkey and London. Travelers stay at Four Season hotels at each stop.

Tickets for passengers flying in groups are $119,000. Single passengers pay $130,000.

Each package includes transportation, accommodations, excursions, meals and drinks.

Four Seasons launched its first group jet trips in 2012, using an aircraft that carried 78 travelers.

The firm runs 92 hotels and private residences around the world.
