The next big super hero epic’s cast is nearly set.
It looks as if Fox has finally settled on a cast for their upcoming “Fantastic Four” reboot, according to Variety.
Joining the previously rumored Michael B. Jordan — who’s slated to play Johnny Storm, the Human Torch — are Kate Mara, Miles Teller and Jamie Bell.
Mara is expected to play Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman, while Teller would play Reed Richards, Mr. Fantastic, while Bell pegged to play Ben Grimm, the Thing.
If everything moves forward, the film will reunite Jordan with director James Trank, who he worked with on acclaimed 2012 scifi drama “Chronicle.”
Unlike the previous “Fantastic Four” films, which were released in 2005 and 2007, the latest iteration will focus on a younger, less experienced team.
Although its not yet close to shooting, “Fantastic Four” is expected in theaters on June 19, 2015.
