Raptors set to deal Rudy Gay to Kings: report

The Raptors are ready to deal unhappy and well-paid forward Rudy Gay to the Kings in a seven-player deal, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Gay, who is making $17.8 million this year and has a player option for $19.3 million next season that he will surely exercise, will go to Sacramento along with Quincy Acy and Aaron Gray in a deal likely to be finalized Monday.

In return, Toronto will get Greivis Vasquez, John Salmons, Patrick Petterson and Chuck Hayes — with Vazquez set to become Toronto’s starting point guard.
