The man pictured here slashed a livery driver during a robbery in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, authorities said.

The attacker hailed the cab at Bedford Avenue and Empire Boulevard at around 4:30 a.m. Friday and asked to be taken to Bedford-Stuyvesant, cops said.

During the trip, he pulled a knife on the 69-year-old cabby and ordered him to hand over his money and cellphone.

The driver initially tried to resist and was slashed on the hand, cops said.

He then turned over his Samsung phone along with around $400 before the thief fled.


Police have charged the mentally disturbed man whom they shot in the neck after he allegedly hit a cop in the face with a cane Saturday.

Dairon Bledsoe, 27, was charged with assaulting a police officer with a deadly weapon, menacing and attempted criminal mischief, cops said.

The incident unfolded in Bedford-Stuyvesant after two officers patrolling a subway station on Lewis Avenue heard a loud banging nearby, police said.

The officers ran over to discover Bledsoe smashing the hood of their patrol car with his cane, authorities claim.

Bledsoe ignored their orders to stop and smacked one of the officers on the left side of the face with his cane, police said.

The injured officer’s partner opened fire when Bledsoe attempted a second swing of the cane, cops said.

Bledsoe was hospitalized in stable condition.

The Bronx

The thief pictured here robbed a Morris Heights convenience store at gunpoint, authorities said.

The thug walked into a 7-Eleven on University Avenue at around 4:30 a.m. Thursday and headed to a refrigerator at the back of the store, where he grabbed two cans of beer, cops said.

The thief then walked up to the counter and pulled a gun on the 58-year-old female clerk and ordered her to hand over cash, cops said.

The frightened employee placed about $100 on the counter, and the crook grabbed it and took off.

The thief is believed to be in his 40s and around 6 feet tall and 190 pounds.


A man was shot during a dispute between two rival gangs in Claremont, authorities said.

The victim was walking down Grand Concourse at around 8 p.m. Nov. 30 when he noticed some friends involved in an argument with another group, police said.

One of the men from the rival group walked up to the victim and attempted to engage him in conversation, cops said. But when the victim tried to walk away, the gunman opened fire, grazing his face. Both groups fled the scene, and The victim was treated and later released from Lincoln Hospital.

Manhattan

A Whole Foods worker in Greenwich Village was arrested after he was caught stealing nearly $2,000 from the store by filing phony catering orders, sources said.

Andre Small, 22, who worked as a supervisor at the 14th Street market, would create fake orders, then cancel the orders and refund cash to his personal credit card, the sources said.

Small was arrested Dec. 2 and charged with grand larceny.


These three men barged into a Morningside Heights apartment and robbed a resident at gunpoint, authorities said.

The armed thieves opened the unlocked apartment door on West 127th Street at 12:20 a.m. Thursday and ordered the 30-year-old resident inside to hand over cash and whatever electronics were in the house, cops said.

The victim complied, and the men fled with an unknown amount of cash and goods.
