Kimye gets ‘South Park’ treatment in season finale

Over 17 seasons “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have made it clear that there is no one they’re not willing to make fun of.

And for Wednesday’s night’s season finale, the show returned to two of its favorite targets: Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, each of whom the show last lampooned in 2009 and 2010 respectively.

The episode starts with fourth grader Wendy trying to convince classmate Butters that his love for Kardashian is built on a lie, that she is not the beautiful woman he sees on TV is a heavily edited creation, because she is actually a hobbit. West then shows up at South Park Elementary to set the record straight.

“There have been malicious rumors started at this elementary school, that my beautiful fiancee is a hobbit,” the literally animated West says. “That is not funny, and it is not true.”

From there, continues his valiant and loving defense of Kardashian’s non-Hobbitness by interrupting an award show, and producing a new version of the already infamous “Bound 2” music video that features the delightful chorus, “Kim is not a hobbit.”
