New woe for Vito charity

The troubled nonprofit Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Citizens Council, already under federal investigation, is in hot water again.

The Brooklyn-based senior-services and housing provider — a pet cause of Assemblyman and Brooklyn Democratic Party boss Vito Lopez — failed to file its tax return with the IRS, The Post has learned.

The return was due last Monday, and the agency admits it couldn’t get its act together.

CEO Christiana Fisher said in an e-mail that “due to the large number of our related organizations, the preparation of our annual information return is complex.”
