Army colonel’s wife went rogue while hubby was deployed: suit

A U.S. Army commander claims his wife went rogue while he was deployed to Afghanistan, organizing “sexually-oriented programs” for military spouses and acting “as if she were a colonel herself.”

Col. James Johnson III filed suit yesterday against his estranged wife over allegations that she kidnapped their 16-year-old son after her “disruptive” behavior got her booted off an Army base in Italy last year.

Johnson, head of the anti-insurgent “Task Force Bayonet” and 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, claims Kristina Johnson violated the Hague Convention by taking the teen to live with her parents in upstate Monroe.

His Manhattan federal court filing seeks to return the boy to the Army garrison in Vicenza, Italy, where Johnson is stationed.

It also says that the West Point grad is suing his wife for divorce after 23 years of marriage.

Kristina Johnson insisted yesterday that her 90-minute program on “spouse self-care” was approved by a general’s wife and included only a fleeting mention of sex.

“Was masturbation one of the topics briefly touched on, talked about? Yes,” she said. “It’s normal.”

She declined to comment further, saying she needed to speak with her lawyer.
