Happily, it didn’t end with a bang.
A sultry transsexual porn star from LA — in town to film a video, appear on the Howard Stern show and hang out with Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss — told cops she got the scare of her life in an apartment with an obsessed fan who collected grenades.
Blond bombshell Kayla Coxx claimed her nightmare took place in the Lower East Side apartment of Allen Hasty.
“I kept thinking, ‘This is it! This is it!’ ” said a shaken Coxx, 27.
She told cops the confrontation started at around 1 a.m. on Dec. 29 when Hasty, 40, called her cellphone shortly after her flight touched down at Kennedy Airport.
Hasty said he’s a longtime fan and asked to hire her as an escort. She told him her regular rate to “hang out” is $2,000.
She had her limo driver take her to Hasty’s Norfolk Street apartment. They arrived at about 3 a.m.
“When I got there, he wants to absorb as much time and energy of mine that he can,” she said. “He offered me drugs.”
But then he broke the news that he didn’t have her fee.
“He said he had only $1,200,” she said.
“He had me looking through all of his [stuff] for the rest of the money and for the painting.”
She spotted a silver gun in a bedroom drawer and a grenade was sitting on a hallway table, she told cops.
She left when her driver showed up to check on her.
Police evacuated the six-story building to search for explosives.
The NYPD Bomb Squad uncovered two inert MK-II grenades and a .40-caliber artillery round, sources said.
Hasty, who did not respond to calls for comment, was charged with drug possession and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
