Ex-gov ‘beat’ aide ducks

Former Gov. David Paterson’s ex-top aide who allegedly beat his girlfriend ducked reporters yesterday outside court in The Bronx after being ordered to stay away from the woman for at least two more months.

The 6-foot-7 David Johnson ran down a back stairwell with his lawyer after a brief appearance in the borough’s Domestic Violence Court, where Supreme Court Judge Miriam Best had just continued a temporary order of protection instructing Johnson, 38, to stay away from Sherr-una Booker.

Booker has said Johnson choked her, ripped off her clothes and threatened to kill her on Oct. 31, 2009, after she refused to change out of Halloween lingerie before going out.

“I’ll f–king kill you before I let you go anywhere!” Johnson allegedly screamed at Booker.

Booker said then-Gov. Paterson later pressured her not to file charges against Johnson.

At yesterday’s hearing, prosecutors agreed to give Johnson’s lawyer photographs of the allegedly beaten Booker and tapes of her 911 calls.
