PSAL boys basketball roundup: Shorthanded Lincoln routs Grady

Even down five players and two starters, Lincoln had no problem dealing with neighborhood rival Grady. The Railsplitters, ranked first in the PSAL by The Post, cruised to an 88-61 road victory as Shaquille Stokes scored 24 points and dished out seven assists, Isaiah Whitehead added 19 points and Michael White contributed 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Jabari Peters scored 24 points for Grady (1-7, Brooklyn AA).

Lincoln (10-0, 8-0 Brooklyn AA) will be without starting power forward Kamari Murphy for at least two weeks, coach Dwayne (Tiny) Morton said, after the senior broke his left pinky toe in Tuesday’s win over George Westinghouse. Murphy’s replacement, Shaquille Thomas, did his best impression of the standout, scoring eight points and grabbing 13 rebounds.

Additionally, starting center Jordan Dickerson and reserves Ethan Telfair, Shaquille Davis and Isaiah Watson were also held out for a second straight game for disciplinary reasons. Dickerson, Morton said, could be back in the lineup for Saturday’s game against Kecoughtan (Va.) in the Seven Cities Roundball Classic at Wilson High School in Norfolk, Va.

“Everybody’s playing well, so I can’t complain,” Morton said.

No. 2 Boys & Girls 86, George Westinghouse 46: Jeffland Neverson scored 17 points, Antione Slaughter had 13 points and 10 assists and Leroy (Truck) Fludd finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds for Boys & Girls (6-2), which led 43-21 at halftime, in Brooklyn AA. Brian Elleby notched 10 points for Westinghouse (2-6).

No. 5 Wings Academy 54, John F. Kennedy 27: Gerrell Martin scored a team-high 14 points, Amdy Fall had 13 points and 12 rebounds and Steven Gomez had 11 points and seven boards for Wings Academy (9-0), which held Kennedy (5-3) to single digits in all four quarters, in Bronx AA.

Martin Van Buren 67, Thomas Edison 62: Edgar LeBron notched 19 points and 11 rebounds, Jason Veasey scored 14 points and Tony Wilson had 13 points and 12 rebounds for Martin Van Buren (3-5) in Queens AA. Edison is 1-6.

Forest Hills 50, Beach Channel 48: Rudolph Collins had 15 points and 14 rebounds and Jose Torres had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Forest Hills (4-2) in Queens AA. Beach Channel is 1-6.

Robeson 63, Transit Tech 61: Tremayne Frazier scored the game-winning basket with six seconds left, Darrell Lucky scored 22 points and Shawn Ponds also had 22 points and six steals for Robeson (4-4) in Brooklyn AA. Matthew Banton paced Transit Tech (1-7) with 19 points.

CLASS A

Bedford Academy 83, Brooklyn Tech 38: Sean Snagg scored 21 points, Darien Best added 17 points and Neil Veira had 11 for Bedford Academy (7-1) in Brooklyn A East.

Bayard Rustin 73, Economics & Finance 30: Robert Jackson scored 14 points and Joshua Spence posted a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds for Bayard Rustin (8-0) in Manhattan A Southwest. Economics & Finance is now 4-4.

CLASS B

Teachers Prep 66, Foundations Academy 52: Chris Middleton totaled 12 points and eight assists and Craig Battle had 11 points and six rebounds for Teachers Prep (6-1) in Brooklyn B East. Foundations Academy is 3-3.

Fannie Lou Hamer 57, Bathgate 42: Jimeek Conyers tallied 15 points and nine assists and Tyrik Lewis had 10 points and eight rebounds for Fannie Lou Hamer (9-3) in Bronx B East. Bathgate falls to 4-7.

Law Enforcement & Public Safety 61, Renaissance 53: Elijah Askew had 21 points and five assists and William Raiford added 16 points and 12 assists for Law Enforcement & Public Safety (4-4) in Queens B East. Renaissance is now 3-5.

Pathways 75, Robert F. Kennedy 60: Jordan Washington had 35 points and 21 rebounds, Anthony Jacobs had 16 points and four assists and Jamel Holmes finished with 11 points for Pathways (7-0) in Queens B East. Robert F. Kennedy is 6-2.

Townsend Harris 71, Scholars Academy 51: Nicholas Nehaul scored 23 points, David Week had 22 and Connor Doyle 17 for Townsend Harris (5-3) is Queens B East. Scholars Academy is 1-7.

East Harlem Pride 84, Health Profession 67: Ivan Morales had 35 points and 13 rebounds, Lazarus Bennett followed with 16 points and Daniel Brito had 14 points and a team-high 20 rebounds for undefeated East Harlem Pride (9-0) in Manhattan B-2. Gelvis Solano sank four 3-pointers and dropped in 30 points for Health Profession (4-4).

All City Leadership 79, Maxwell 51: Marcellas Anderson scored 26 points and grabbed 17 rebounds, six on the offensive glass, Carlton Miller added 17 points and Dillon Simpson added 14 points and 21 rebounds for All City Leadership (6-1), which held a commanding 22-3 after the first quarter, in Brooklyn B East. Maxwell falls to 1-6.

Eleanor Roosevelt 93, Henry Street 41: Erando Halilaj posted 27 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, Taulant Ibraj had 23 points and Robert Borusiewicz grabbed 10 rebounds for Roosevelt (8-0) in Manhattan B-1. Henry Street falls to 0-8.

Pace 71, East Side Community 49: Rolan Eason scored 23 points, Justin Rotolo had 13 and Samuel Knight 11 for Pace (7-1) in Manhattan B-1. East Side Community is 3-5.
