Rapper 50 Cent was charged with domestic violence after allegedly kicking the mother of one of his children last month, authorities said.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, faces five criminal charges, including one count of domestic violence and four counts of vandalism, Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer said.
Police said Jackson, 37, ransacked the woman’s apartment June 23 during an argument at her Los Angeles condo, where he allegedly kicked her after kicking open the bedroom door.
Cops were called to the scene, where the woman told them she had locked herself in the bedroom.
Condo damage included a broken chandelier, television and lamp. Cops also found clothes scattered across the floor.
Cops said 50 was responsible for more than $7,000 worth of damage.
