Man found on subway asleep, holding loaded pistol

Cops busted a South Carolina man conked out on a Times Square train on Saturday morning with a gun in his hand, police said.

The loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun found on a South Carolina man, asleep on the N train.

A startled straphanger who just got off the N train at around 7 a.m. told transit cops inside the Times Square subway station about the gun-toting sleeper, according to police.

Officers Michael Falls, Eugene Grant, and Janice Marshall were on post near the train and quickly spied Demarrius Jackson, 19, fast asleep and stretched out across two seats, holding a loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun, cops said.

Cops woke him up, cuffed him, and later found pot in his pocket.

He has been charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a defaced firearm, and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.
