Rob Ryan found a way to forget about the disappointment of being passed over for NFL coaching jobs – by taking part in Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
The Saints defensive coordinator spent Fat Tuesday serving as grand marshal of the Krewe of Argus parade. Wearing a black and gold Drew Brees Saints jersey, Ryan rode a float down Bourbon Street. There were commemorative cups with his photo on them and even a group of Ryan wannabes with wigs and fake headsets.
Ryan may not have a head-coaching position, but he had plenty of beer to drink and fans to party with on Tuesday.
