She is known for being provocative, but Lady Gaga has been removed from China’s government blacklist, with strict conditions on her album’s cover art.

Her latest album, ARTPOP, has been banned from being sold in China until now – and Chinese censors have not stopped at editing the front cover to make it more conservative.

The large blue ball between her legs on the original album cover has been increased in size to cover more of her naked body, and they have also added a pair of black tights to cover her legs.

One of her song titles has also changed from “Sexxx Dreams” to “X Dreams.”

Lady Gaga’s songs have been black-listed by the Chinese government since 2011 when China’s Cultural Ministry claimed her music as “damaging the nation’s cultural security.”

The notice, issued by the Ministry and posted on its website, included Lady Gaga’s songs “The Edge of Glory,” “Hair,” “Marry the Night” and “Bloody Mary.”

Other singers whose songs have been banned in China include Katy Perry and the Backstreet Boys.

The American singer tweeted her happiness after hearing China’s ban had been lifted.
