A Brooklyn high-school dean who was fired for allegedly making sexually charged remarks to students was the victim of a “witch hunt” and a “sham” process orchestrated by vengeful kids who thought that he was too strict, a judge ruled.
Andre Lissone, 45, filed an appeal in court after he was fired in October 2011 from his assistant-principal position at Aspirations HS in Brownsville.
A clique of disgruntled female students he had suspended complained to authorities that Lissone reportedly asked one 18-year-old if he could take her to a nightclub, and asked another, “Do you have naked pictures of yourself on your cellphone? Show me!” according to court records.
A male student said Lissone, who is black, had bragged that “even though he was ugly, he still was able to ‘get a lot of white p—y.’ ”
Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Geoffrey Wright agreed with Lissone that the accusations were “a pack of lies,” and ordered the city to “reconsider” his termination within 90 days.
