With the 2014 NFL Draft just hours away, some of the nation’s top college prospects will soon enter Radio City Musical Hall and wait for their lives to change forever. But before these all-stars make an NFL roster, we’re taking a look at the men underneath the shoulder pads.
Johnny Manziel

Position: Quarterback
Fun Fact: He may not have an NFL team to call his own just yet, but Manziel’s already got an A-List fan club. Johnny Football counts Drake, LeBron James and Dez Bryant as pals.
Bishop Sankey
Age: 21
College: University of Washington
Position: Running back
Fun Fact: This RB passed on playing ball his senior year in favor of the NFL Draft.
Blake Bortles
Age: 22
College: University of Central Florida
Position: Quarterback
Fun Fact: Despite being a possible top-five pick in the Draft, it wasn’t Bortles that stole headlines during the NFL Scouting Combine earlier this year. In fact, it was his model gal pal (and blonde bombshell) Lindsey Duke.
Mike Evans
Age: 20
College: Texas A&M
Position: Wide receiver
Fun Fact: Football is Evans’ game now, but it wasn’t always. The Texas A&M wideout gave up the pigskin in high school to focus on basketball instead.
Jimmy Garoppolo
Age: 22
College: Eastern Illinois University
Position: Quarterback
Fun Fact: Garoppolo has college ties to Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo, as they both share an alma mater.
Eric Ebron
Age: 21
College: University of North Carolina
Position: Tight end
Fun Fact: Though he calls Greensboro, N.C. home, Ebron is actually Jersey-bred. The star tight end was born in Newark.
Anthony Barr
Age: 22
College: UCLA
Position: Outsider linebacker
Fun Fact: Like father, like son. Barr’s father, Tony Brooks, also played in the NFL after being drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1992.
AJ McCarron
Age: 23
College: University of Alabama
Position: Quarterback
Fun Fact: McCarron and fiance Katherine Webb are rumored to be starring in an upcoming reality show, a la “Eric and Jessie.”
Troy Niklas
Age: 21
College: Notre Dame
Position: Tight end
Fun Fact: The NFL is in this tight end’s blood. Niklas’ uncle, Bruce Matthews, was selected ninth overall by the Houston Oilers during the 1983 Draft.
Dee Ford
Age: 23
College: Auburn
Position: Defensive end
Fun Fact: Who knew that Ford was such a yogi? The defensive end has praised yoga for changing his athleticism.
