9/11 truther crashes Super Bowl postgame chat

A 9/11 “truther” who interrupted the Seahawks’ postgame press conference Sunday night was arrested for criminal trespassing by the New Jersey State Police and jailed, a spokesman confirmed.

Matthew Mills, 30, of Brooklyn briefly held up the start of Super Bowl XLVIII MVP Malcolm Smith’s media session on live TV after the game by screaming that the real reasons for the attacks needed to be investigated.

“Investigate 9/11,” he said. “9/11 was perpetrated by people within our own government.”

Mills was hustled away by NFL officials, who then turned him over to the state police for arrest. Police spokesman Stephen Jones said Mills’ media affiliation was unknown as of late Sunday night.
