Jets Blitz

HERO

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger patiently and methodically dissected the Jets’ secondary. He finished 23-of-30 for 264 yards and one touchdown with a 113.8 rating.

ZERO

Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie, who allowed a 55-yard TD catch to Pittsburgh receiver Emmanuel Sanders in the third quarter that essentially put the game out of reach. Cromartie was also called for a 25-yard pass interference penalty that led to a Steelers field goal.

UNSUNG HERO

Steelers tight end Heath Miller is Roethlisberger’s safety blanket. Miller caught six passes for 84 yards. He did not score, but several of those catches were big contributors to Pittsburgh scoring drives.

KEY STAT

11:38: The time of possession difference in favor of the Steelers, who controlled the game.
