Justin Bieber wished Anne Frank could have survived the Holocaust — and purchased his albums.

The pint-sized pop star raised eyebrows by penning an odd tribute to the famed teenage writer Frank, who kept diaries of her time hiding from Nazis.

Bieber was playing a gig near Amsterdam and visited the location where Frank hid for two years.

He signed the museum guest book: “Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.’”

A “belieber” is slang for fans of the under-sized Canadian hit king.

Maatje Mostart, a spokeswoman for the Anne Frank House museum, confirmed today that Bieber visited Friday evening.

The Jewish teen hid with her family in a small apartment above a warehouse, where she kept a heart-breaking diary of her time evading the Nazis.

Collaborators eventually tipped off the Nazis and her family was sent to death camps. She died in 1945 at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.

Bieber called the museum Friday and asked if he could visit and officials were more than happy to receive him, according to Mostart.

Despite the oddly self-absorbed tone of Bieber’s guestbook note, Mostart said she didn’t find the message offensive.

Frank was 13 years old when she began keeping her diary in 1942. Like many teenage girls, she made a collage of the celebrities of her day — movie stars, dancers, and royalty — and kept it on her bedroom wall.

“Our little room looked very bare at first with nothing on the walls; but thanks to Daddy who had brought my film-star collection and picture postcards … with the aid of a paste pot and brush, I have transformed the walls into one gigantic picture,” she wrote on July 11, 1942, just days after going into hiding. “This makes it look much more cheerful.”

Bieber is on a European tour. He performed in Arnhem, Netherlands, last night, and will next perform three nights in Oslo, Norway.
