Motorcyclist killed in East New York

A Virginian motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Brooklyn yesterday, police said.

Robert Brown, 49, lost control of his 2000 Harley Davidson bike in East New York when he hit a depression in the road on Liberty Avenue near Berriman Street about 7:45 p.m., cops said.

He veered into a parked 2011 Toyota van, and was critically hurt. EMS rushed him to Brookdale Hospital, but he did not survive.

No criminality is suspected in the accident.

Police said that Brown was from Bracey, Virginia.
