Death dive from luxury UES apt. building

A 37-year-old woman jumped to her death — apparently from the roof of her luxury apartment building — on the Upper East Side this morning, authorities said.

Emyli Slivka plunged to her death shortly after 9 a.m., falling apparently more than 12 stories from the top of 240 E. 86th St., where she lived, and landing in an East 85th Street courtyard behind the building, sources said.

A resident at the East 85th Street building said the victim was fully clothed down to her shoes.

“They look like nice dress shoes,” the woman said.

Sources said Slivka lived at the East 86th Street address.

“It’s a stressful city, you know,” another 85th Street resident said. “It’s awful. I heard it. It was about 9:15, and I was sitting in bed watching TV. I just heard this loud crash, but I didn’t realize that’s what it was.”

One neighbor in the same building said, “The police said she jumped from the roof. We don’t know who she is.

“We can see her, it’s very sad.”
