Fans blast ‘Jeopardy!’ contestant’s bizarre winning strategy

A “Jeopardy!” contestant is using a bizarre strategy that is driving fans crazy — and he’s winning.

Arthur Chu has won “Jeopardy!” three times using game theory and hopping around the board to find the game’s Daily Double question.

“I don’t think I’m particularly smart,” Chu told The Post. “It was all about looking for the right strategy for studying and the right strategy for playing the game and drilling myself on it till it became second nature.”

He bucks the game’s conventional wisdom of starting with the easy questions, and uses a complex version of game theory to keep points away from his opponents and increase his chances of winning.

Some fans have taken to Twitter to rip his scattershot style.

“Who is this dude that ruins the organization of the #Jeopardy board by hunting down the Daily Doubles?” one fan tweeted on Thursday. “You give me a headache.”

But Chu cites former Jeopardy masters with his creative strategy.

“All of the things I’m doing are very obvious, logical ways to maximize your chances of winning that are well within the rules,” he said.

And when there are big bucks at stake, Chu said winning is more important than being a crowd-pleaser.

“It’s hard for me to take seriously the argument that I should give up that kind of money just for the sake of making the viewing audience feel comfortable,” he said.

Find out if his wacky strategy works again when Chu returns to “Jeopardy!” on Feb. 24.
