Hilton rises 7% from IPO price

Shares of Hilton Worldwide Holdings opened at $21.30 a share on Thursday, as it debuted on the New York Stock Exchange in the wake of the world’s largest hotel initial public offering.

Hilton late Wednesday priced the IPO at $20 a share, which would leave the company with a market capitalization of near $2.46 billion.

Shares changed hands in recent action at $21.55 a share, a 7.8 percent rise from its offering price, and traded as high as $21.90.
