Employees sue deli where lizard head was found in salad

A Manhattan deli chain that was recently accused of serving a severed lizard head was slapped with a lawsuit Tuesday by its staffers, who claim they’ve been cheated out of pay for years.

Current and former employees of Guy & Gallard filed a class-action lawsuit in Manhattan federal court alleging that the chain rips off workers by not paying them minimum wage and overtime.

The March incident in which a lizard head was found in food ordered out of the chain’s Hell’s Kitchen location on West 40th Street is not mentioned.

The suit seeks unspecified money damages. Reps for the chain did not return messages seeking comment.
