Before a show kicks off, designers are usually scrambling to fix wardrobe malfunctions on the models walking in their show. But Nicole Miller doesn’t discriminate.
“I had a mishap,” Carol Alt, the fabulous ’80s supermodel, told The Post backstage at the designer’s show on Friday. “I caught my [Nicole Miller] dress on the door as I was getting into the car,” added Alt, who walked into the tents wearing the black-and-white leather and lace dress, which ripped along the seam.
Miller, who based her latest collection on the female warrior, took her inspiration to heart and jumped into action to save the day.
“Nicole said, ‘No biggie, I will fix that and just go back and take another dress,’ ” said Alt, who picked out a body-conscious black number. “So hey, I had my choice of dresses. It was a fabulous mishap!”
