De-icing truck strikes plane at La Guardia Airport

An airliner was struck by a de-icing truck while it was taxiing at La Guardia Airport on Saturday night.

The Delta plane was preparing for take off when the truck crashed into it at around 6:30 p.m., cops said.

None of the 149 Orlando, Fla.-bound people on board were injured.

The passengers had to be moved to a second plane.

The flight, which already had been delayed from a scheduled 5:40 p.m. take off due to the weather, was held up for another 90 minutes.
