Aron Ralston, who amputated his own right arm to free himself from a boulder that had fallen on him in a Utah canyon in 2003, was being held in jail Sunday night, cops said.

The adventurer was busted Saturday at the home of Vita Shannon, who was also arrested, according to the Denver Post. Ralston was being held on one count of assault and one count of wrongs to minors.

The relationship between Ralston and Shannon, both 38, was not clear, and no details were available on the count involving a child.

Ralston, author of the autobiography “Between a Rock and a Hard Place,” married Jessica Trusty in 2009. They have one child.

The 2010 movie based on his story was nominated for a Best Picture Oscar.

Franco was nominated for Best Actor.
