It’s a bird . . . it’s a plane . . . it’s a Swiss guy with a retractable wing and four jet engines strapped to his back.
Yves “Fusion Man” Rossy, a former Swiss air force fighter pilot, jumped out of a plane yesterday wearing the contraption he’d spent five years designing and building. Then he took a sightseeing flight through the Alps at 186 mph.

Flying at an altitudes of 2,600 feet above sea level, he did a series of figure-eights by making small body movements, then folded his wing and parachuted to a safe landing.
“It’s like a second skin,” he said afterward. “If I turn to the left, I fly left. If I nudge to the right, I go right.”
