‘The 100’ comes up big for The CW

Shows you what I know . . .

Last week I gave a “meh” review to The CW’s new series, “The 100” — which then premiered to 2.7 million viewers.

That’s The CW’s most-watched Wednesday night show (from 9-10 p.m.) since “Hellcats” snared 3 million viewers back in 2010.

It was also the network’s most-watched midseason premiere since another 2010 series, “Life Unexpected” — and was up a whopping 114 percent in total viewers compared to the show that previously aired in that timeslot (“The Tomorrow People”).

Series stars include Paige Turco, Eliza Taylor, Eli Goree and Marie Avgeropoulos.

Meanwhile, BET will begin airing same-day repeats of “The Queen Latifah Show” — which premiered last fall and has performed well, earning a second season — on Monday, March 31. “Queen Latifah” will air from 1 to 2 a.m., directly after “The Wendy Williams Show.”

And, in other late-night news, ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” averaged 2.83 million viewers last week — its best week in total viewers since mid-November. Jimmy Fallon’s “Tonight Show” won the week in total viewers (4.3 million), followed by “JKL” and David Letterman’s “Late Show” (2.78 million viewers — only 52,000 viewers behind “JKL”).
