B’WAY BAMS GOOD FOR BIZ

The Broadway show that President and First Lady Obama saw Saturday night got a big boost at the box office yesterday.

The number of advance tickets sold yesterday for “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” was triple that of the previous Sunday, according to a production source.

Yesterday’s 3 p.m. performance of the August Wilson play also got a boost, although it didn’t sell out.

“We definitely came to the play because the Obamas saw it,” said Martin Jenkins, a tourist from Georgia.

The matinee performance on Saturday — just before the Obama invasion — was only three-quarters full, workers said.

“That [the Obamas] would come to a play like this is very special to us,” said the play’s director, Bartlett Sher.

Meanwhile, at Blue Hill, the chichi organic eatery in the West Village where the Obamas dined, patrons were still feeling the presidential glow.

“I still can’t believe I had dinner in the same restaurant as the Obamas,” said Judi Newman, 52.
