Happy birthday, Queensboro Bridge!
All this week, the city is celebrating the centennial of the span, a k a the 59th Street Bridge.
Festivities that began yesterday include a parade of vintage cars and a fireworks display.
The bridge has made countless appearances in film and television, and was immortalized in Simon and Garfunkel’s “The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin’ Groovy).”
