ANTI-RECESSION DRINKS ON HOUSE

Bars are so desperate for customers that some are not only offering booze on the cheap — but are also giving it away.

With sales down about 30 percent at his Pourhouse on the Upper West Side and Pourhouse and Sidebar in the East Village, Michael Sinensky likes the idea.

“People need an incentive to go out,” he said.

Sinensky, 30, and Internet entrepreneur Scott Gerber last week launched the Web site ClickLinksforFreeDrinks.com to provide one-hour open bars.

Free-drink seekers can pick a Sinensky bar, or Southern Hospitality, on the Upper East Side. They can enter a date and time and invite up to 20 pals by providing their e-mail addresses.

Guests are e-mailed tickets or will be listed at the door. More than 2,000 have signed up.
