Dr. Oz” continues to make inroads in daytime. The fresh man show, hosted by Dr. Mehmet Oz, was third (in households) behind only “Oprah” and “Dr. Phil” the week of Oct. 12, nearly tying “Phil” (2.7 for “Oz,” 2.9 for “Phil”). “Oz” is also second, for the still-young season, be hind “Oprah” in women 25-54.

On the other end of the daypart spectrum, Eva Long oria and Kobe Bryant will be among George Lopez’s inaugural guests when “Lopez Tonight” premieres Nov. 9 (11 p.m./TBS).

Lopez, of course, got his start in stand-up comedy, as did comedienne Lisa Lampa nelli, who’s still doing standup and who joins emcee Freddie Roman, Sunda Croonquist and Cory Kahaney (“Last Comic Standing”) at the Gilda’s Club of Northern Jer sey benefit this Sunday (7 p.m.) at the Bergen Academies in Hackensack, NJ.

Howard Stern “Wack Pack” regular Beetlejuice will be all over the place, literally, the next few days to promote “This Is Beetle,” a five-part series, directed/produced by Keith Fenimore, that pre mieres tomorrow on Howard TV (InDemand Network). Beetlejuice (real name: Les ter Green) visits today’s “Howard Stern Show” (Sirius/XM) around 8 a.m. and will also be in Times Square at noon wearing a sandwich board to promote his show. And there’s a “Bee tle Ball” party tomorrow night at Comix Comedy Club.

Former “ER” star Anthony Edwards joins Runner’s World at the magazine’s ING NYC Marathon Expo booth Friday and Saturday (10:30 a.m., Javits Center) to promote Shoes4Africa, a non-profit or ganization that donates shoes to Kenyan athletes.
