Maks, Kym on B’way

After “Dancing With the Stars” finishes its season next month, it looks like Maks and Kym are going to dance on Broadway.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kym Johnson, two of the best-known professional dancers on “Dancing,” are joining the cast of the hit ballroom-dance show “Burn the Floor” starting right after Thanksgiving.

They’ll perform until mid-January, a rep for the show confirmed yesterday.

The fiery Maks was eliminated with partner Debi Mazar in the third week of the series. But Kym and her partner, popular Donny Osmond, are still very much in the running.

Both dancers are under contract to “Dancing” until the finale, set for Nov. 24. After that, they are set to fly to New York and start on Broadway three days later.

Maks appeared in “Burn the Floor” for three weeks last summer, partnered with his then-fiancée Karina Smirnoff.

But their relationship began to unravel during 14-hour rehearsal days and they called it quits last fall.

Kym has also had her own rocky romantic past as a result of “Dancing.”

She left her fiancé, Australian cricketer Shane Watson, for her dancing partner Tom Williams on the Australian version of the show. But that relationship quickly ended.

“Burn the Floor” was originally slated to run on Broadway for just 12 weeks over the summer, but proved so popular, its run was extended through next year.
