Paper trail points to Jacko doc

LAS VEGAS — A sedative that played a role in Michael Jackson’s death was bought in a Las Vegas pharmacy by the singer’s personal physician, according to court documents released yesterday.

Search-warrant records revealed that authorities raided Applied Pharmacy Services on Aug. 11 in search of paperwork indicating it was where Dr. Conrad Murray purchased several vials of propofol.

And a receipt uncovered in a July 28 search of Murray’s Las Vegas medical office showed that he also bought propofol on May 12 — and administered doses from that batch to Jackson in the hours before his death on June 25.

Murray, the focus of a Los Angeles police homicide investigation, has not been charged with a crime.

Attorneys for The Associated Press and other media outlets obtained the documents’ release.
