OK, so Cynthia Rodriguez’ new beau can’t turn on a fastball, but her ex, Alex Rodriguez, probably doesn’t know a whole lot about amortization, either.
“I saw online that folks are comparing me with Alex,” said Cynthia’s new man, Laszlo Fazekas, 37, a real estate investor and accountant. “That’s ridiculous.”
Fazekas was particularly peeved by a reader poll that said C-Rod traded down in the looks department after pictures of the new couple surfaced in Florida’s Palm Beach Post.
“I’m a private person, so I didn’t make myself known after the picture with Cynthia came out,” Fazekas told the newspaper.
“That picture is an awkward picture from an awkward position. I don’t care what people say. I’m physically fit and I know I’m not bad looking.”
And just to prove his point, the private person changed the picture on his Facebook page after talking to the newspaper.
Fazekas said he met Cynthia Rodriguez, 36, when she came to visit his home with a real estate agent.
Meanwhile, A-Rod, a World Series champ, has moved on with actress Kate Hudson. Cynthia filed for divorce last year after news surfaced that the slugger was swinging with pop star Madonna.
