Adam not sorry

Adam Lambert won’t apologize for his shock ing performance on ABC Sunday night — and says he’s being singled out because he’s gay.

“I admit I did get carried away, but I don’t see anything wrong with it,” Lambert said yesterday on CBS’ “The Early Show.”

“I’m not a babysitter. I’m a performer . . . I think it’s because I’m a gay male.”

The glam-rocking “American Idol” favorite shocked TV audiences on Sunday’s American Music Awards during his performance of “For Your Entertainment” when he kissed a male keyboard player and shoved another dancer’s face into his crotch.

ABC, which received over 1,500 complaints, canceled Lambert’s scheduled appearance on “Good Morning America” — which is why he ended up live on “The Early Show.”

“I do see how people got offended and that was not my intention,” he said yesterday. “My intention was to interpret the lyrics of my song and have a good time with it.”

Lambert admitted he didn’t clue ABC into what he was going to do.

“If it had been a female pop performer doing [those] moves that were on the stage, I don’t think there would be nearly as much of an outrage,” he said.
