Putting ‘ex’ in ‘Sex and the City’

The city’s favorite Fab Four are back — but times have sure changed.

Eleven years after they first began bopping around Manhattan — drinking in the good life as its hottest single women — most of the gals from “Sex and the City” are now married or with a significant other.

One is more likely to sport burp cloths than Manolo Blahniks on the weekends. And another has made a post-“Sex” career out of roles in family-friendly flicks.

But now, they’re together again to film the sequel to the 2008 blockbuster “Sex and the City” flick. Filming began last week on the Upper East Side.

When HBO took a chance on a racy drama, the actresses were carefree and bed-hopping their way around town.

Today, Sarah Jessica Parker, 44, likely gets as little sleep as the character she portrays, Carrie Bradshaw — but not because of wild bedroom escapades.

She and hubby Matthew Broderick added twin girls to their family in June, thanks to a sur rogate.

Cynthia Nixon, 43, a k a Miranda, also made a life- chang ing decision when she left boyfriend Danny Mozes in 2004 for Christine Marinoni. Nixon, a mom of two, has been with Marinoni ever since.

Kristin Davis, 44, who plays Charlotte York, has kept a demure profile, appearing in “The Shaggy Dog” and “Deck the Halls.” And no sex-fueled endorsements for her — she’s been a spokeswoman for Maybelline and the Waterproof Garment Co.

At least Kim Cattrall, 53, who plays Samantha Jones, is still young at heart. She’s dating a chef 22 years younger.
