A Queens man is going to prison for 3½ years after admitting to a heinous sex attack on a 23-year-old woman who had passed out at the notorious Chelsea nightclub Marquee in March.
Luis Zambrano, 39, will likely be deported back to his native Peru after serving his sentence.
Zambrano, a construction worker in the United States on a green card, was caught on a security tape kissing the woman as she lay passed out on a club couch.
The tape then shows him dragging the unconscious woman out of the club — at one point losing hold of her so that she fell headfirst into a wall and crumpled, motionless, to the floor. Afterward, he picked her up and carried her in his arms out of the club and into a cab.
He raped the passed-out woman twice back at his apartment on 14th Avenue in College Point, prosecutors said. The victim only regained consciousness during the second assault — with no idea of where she was or who Zambrano was.
She was missing her coat and other belongings — apparently all left at the club.
Zambrano remains free on $30,000 bail pending his sentencing, scheduled for Oct. 27.
