The “Shore” cast has signed on for a fourth season in Italy. (

Jenni “JWoww” Farley is perched on a tan chaise, wearing a strapless sapphire gown and tiara.

With her ample breasts spilling out of the top of the dress, the brunette star of “Jersey Shore” resembles a naughtier version of Kate Middleton — as imagined through the lens of a lad-mag photographer.

JWoww’S TIPS ON LOVE AND GUIDOS

But Farley, who boasts tattoos and a Long Island-Jersey hybrid accent, admits she doesn’t know Brooke Astor from Brooklyn. “We say ‘classy’ with our pinky up,” she jokes about her social set.

The self-proclaimed “guidette” lets out a giggle. “I feel like a bride on my wedding day,” she says. “It reminds me of playing dress-up when I was a girl.”

In truth, Farley has been playing dress-up quite a bit lately. As the popularity of “Jersey Shore” continues its rise, the resident tough girl is emerging from the shadow of Snooki’s pouf, going from trashtastic to fantastic. In December she set tongues wagging after she showed up at a GNC promotional event looking demure in nude makeup and a tasteful aubergine jersey dress.

She’s also now commanding up to $12,000 for a club appearance, which edges the 25-year-old closer to the show’s top earners, The Situation and Snooki, who earn $15,000 apiece.

“Nobody knew what the ‘Jersey Shore’ was going to be, especially not us,” says Farley with a shrug.

The reality show, chronicling a group of “guidos” partying in the Garden State, now draws just under 9 million viewers per episode, making it the highest-rated series in MTV history. And Farley, who operates her own graphic design business, is now adding another profession to her resumé — author.

“The Rules According to JWoww,” a tome about landing a great guy, drops in stores today, and she sat down with The Post for an exclusive interview about boys, clothes and all that girl stuff.

THE POST: You’re channeling a New York society girl in these beautiful gowns. Do you think you’d like to live on the Upper East Side and spend your days lunching?

JWOWW: I did a photo shoot with a girl named . . . Tins? [She pauses, trying to recall the name of socialite Tinsley Mortimer, with whom she posed for Harper’s Bazaar last year.] She was very sweet. She’s a socialite, right? Yeah, probably not. I am such a homebody, I don’t think that I could ever be that type of person.

Do you think your crew of guidos is the new social set?

It’s a different era, I guess, but we definitely have a lot of followers.

Since the show began, you’ve had the opportunity to brush elbows with some famous people. Who is someone that you admire?

Angelina Jolie. She is who she is, and yet she’s not the type of celebrity who pays for charity and donations for a tax write-off. She’s an untouchable celebrity, but yet she’s the one who’s in a Third World country doing what she does.

Do you share the same passions as Angelina Jolie? Would you want to adopt a few kids or do you have other charity work in mind?

Whatever charities I pick, I’ll be fully hands-on with and not just write a check. Definitely an animal charity and a cancer one as well, but I don’t want to jump into it now because I can’t be as dedicated as I want to be.

Like Angelina, you also have a tomboy side to you. What kind of upbringing did you have?

I’m an only child. Mostly raised by my father outside of Saratoga, doing martial arts and snowmobiling. I wore sweaters, jeans and sneakers. I was more interested in four-wheeling in the Catskills than doing my hair and makeup at 7 a.m. before school.

Your father is a bit of a hippie. What did he think of you clubbing and showing a lot of skin?

When he would visit me, he was like, “What the hell happened?” He would just laugh because he knew that he raised me the best he could. I graduated with two degrees.

When Gawker unearthed your portfolio, a lot of people were surprised to learn that you’re a skilled artist. You went to the New York Institute of Technology, right?

Oh man, who found that? [Laughs.] They found my old art stuff when I was 17. I graduated from college with a 3.92 GPA with a degree in computer programming and a BFA in fine arts and animation. My first job was painting a mural in the Grimaldi’s in Queens.

There’s always a scene when you’re getting ready to go out for a night in the house. Do you advise the girls on their style?

God, I hope not. I don’t follow trends. I set my own and I go for the extreme.

But it seems lately that you’ve been dressing a little more conservatively, like the dress you wore to the GNC event. Was it a departure from your usual look?

When people see us on TV, they say, “OMG, they’re changing, ’cause now they’re dressing up and in business suits.” I personally have always done that, but I can’t walk around on the seaside in a full evening gown or business suit because it’s 120 degrees on the shore.

How do you pick your clothes for media appearances? Do you have a stylist?

Yeah, my agents help me with that, and they just want to make sure it looks appropriate but still me. I don’t care how much it costs or who it’s by as long as it fits me. I love shopping, but I go to the same stores I’ve always gone to: Guess, Bebe, Coach. I can’t really skip out of that realm. They say, “Try something different.” The cutest thing I liked was the Barbara Walters interview outfit. I was completely covered with the blazer.

I was surprised when I read this book. It’s very much in your voice.

I wrote the whole entire thing. I spent a good six weeks writing until 5 in the morning. It was therapeutic because it was right after the breakup [with her ex, Tom Lippolis, who in a lawsuit alleges Farley owes him $700,000 for business deals he brokered].

Obviously, you had ripe fodder with the love drama between Sammi and Ronnie and the shenanigans of Pauly, The Situation and Vinny. Did your roommates inspire this book?

Oh, I definitely have a little bit of everything from the “Jersey Shore.” Living with single guys when you’re going through a relationship, you can’t help but watch and learn the guy’s point of view. [See sidebar.]

You were being filmed throughout your entire breakup with Tom. Was it difficult to watch the whole nasty episode play out on TV months later?

It definitely was. We don’t speak. My friends were like, “Why don’t you just date someone normal?” I just wanted a regular guy with no tattoos. And that was Tom, but he turned out to be the least normal. I was never truly happy. I was settling for someone I should be with rather than someone who I want to be with.

You seem to have been in a lot of relationships, slipping into one with Roger Williams after Tom. Are you a serial monogamist?

No, not at all. Roger just came in at the perfect time. He was someone I knew and liked before the “Jersey Shore.” He wasn’t a stranger.

How is everything going with him?

I don’t know, and I don’t want to jinx it. I’m enjoying it, but . . . I have this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity [with the show], and he loves that. We were both raised the same way, which is hard to find. He’s from Maine and I’m from upstate. We have that small community and family-oriented lifestyle which is the same — but then we both became guidos. We both have that upbringing and we know how we want to raise our kids. We’re set in those ways, but we both look like we don’t belong.
