Bristol Palin unimpressed by Levi Johnston’s ‘political aspirations’: report

Count Bristol Palin among those unimpressed by ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston’s bid to be elected mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.

“I never knew he had political aspirations,” Palin, the daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, dismissively told the magazine.

His campaign will be chronicled in a reality show titled “Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor’s Office,” centered on Johnston’s fame as the father of Bristol Palin’s son Tripp.

“I’m glad that Levi has not given up on completing his education and is looking for steady employment,” Palin added.

Palin, 19, confessed last week she regrets giving Johnston another chance at their relationship and is “heartbroken” in the wake of their latest split.

She added that Johnston’s fascination with fame also led to the break-up.
