WASHINGTON — President Obama could face a daunting challenge from at least two top Republicans widely viewed as presidential contenders for 2012, according to a new poll out yesterday.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney holds a 45-44 edge over Obama, according to the poll released yesterday by Quinnipiac University.

Against former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Obama holds a 46-44 advantage.
