The rest of the super-star cast — including Christian Bale, who plays the Caped Crusader and was with his model wife, Sibi Blazic, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hardy and Morgan Freeman — arrived in the real-life Gotham to a pack of adoring fans who braved the heat to watch them walk the black carpet.

The carpet’s color change was a nod to the superhero’s costume.

The blockbuster, opening Friday, is one of the summer’s most anticipated flicks.

It’s the final installment in director Christopher Nolan’s trilogy, following the smash hits, “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight.”

The new movie — which takes place eight years after “The Dark Knight” — has Batman coming out of hiding to battle supervillain Bane, played by “Inception” star Hardy. Some scenes, including a massive brawl featuring scores of extras, were filmed in Manhattan.

Kaitlin Clutter, 11, who came from Manchester, NJ, with her parents, posed for pictures with Gary Oldman, who plays Police Commissioner Gordon, and got Bale and Hardy to sign her movie poster.

“I’m so lucky and fortunate to be here for the biggest movie of the summer,” said Kaitlin, who is in a wheelchair because she was born with spina bifida.
